Our Brazilian hammocks come from several factories in Northeastern
Brazil, which is the center of hammock production in Brazil. Most of
the hammocks produced in Brazil are for domestic consumption, yet the
export market to Europe and North America is expanding.
 
In the picture on the right, one of the weavers is using a
traditional hand loom to make one of our hammocks. You may notice the
rope hanging at the weaver's shoulder, this is pulled to shoot the
shuttlecock from one side to another. In the picture on the left, the
cotton threads are being prepared for the loom
